India is a manufacturing hub for making various types of handicrafts which is also famous in the international market. The most famous form of handicrafts in India are as follows:
Bamboo
Handicrafts: Bamboo handicrafts are the most eco-friendly crafts in
India due to being a manufacturer of bamboo. There are many types of goods made
from bamboo, such as baskets, dolls, toys, sieve, mats, wall hangings,
umbrellas handles, crossbows, kharaahi, kula, dukula, saddle, jewelry boxes
etc. Most handicrafts of bamboo are made in West Bengal, Assam and Tripura.
Benta
handicrafts: The cane bag is famous for handicrafts in India, which
includes useful items such as trays, baskets, stylish furniture, etc.
Bell Metal
Handicrafts: The
string of brass used to make the bell is called bell metal. This hard alloy is
used to make vermilion boxes, bowls, candle stands, pendants and many craft.
The Bell Metal handicrafts are mostly popular in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Assam
and Manipur. This form of handicrafts in Madhya Pradesh is known as tribal
craft.
Bone and
horn Handicrafts: Born in the state of Odisha, and handicrafts of
horn are famous for making birds and animals look like they are very real and
vibrant. Apart from this, pan stand, jewelry, cigarette cans, table lamps,
chillies and salt sets, chess sets, napkin rings, laughing Buddha etc. are made
in Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh.
