Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of EPCH India-Epch.in
The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts which was set up in the year 1986 with the objective to promote handicrafts exports from the Country and create brand image of Indian handcrafted products world over, has celebrated its 30th anniversary today in a colourful ceremony at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida. Alongwith 30th anniversary of EPCH, 10th anniversary of India Expo Centre & Mart in operation was also celebrated.
Many stalwarts from handicrafts exporting fraternity were present during the occasion. Some of them have been felicitated by Export Promotion Council for their long association with EPCH and contribution made in the promotion of handicrafts exports from the Country. Mr. Rakesh Kumar said that the sector achieved many milestones with their support. Everyone over the years has significantly contributed through their hard work and dedication and has brought the Council to a level where it has reached today. Number of stalwarts were felicitated from Moradabad region.
Being the firm believer in Swamy Vivekanad philophosy, Shri Rakesh Kumar ED – EPCH informed that Padmashree Shri Shekhar Sen was specially invited by EPCH to perform mono act on Vivekananda which was the attraction of the 30th years celebration of EPCH. During the event devotees from Divya Prem Sewa Mission Trust who are working for the cause of upliftment of the poor and needy were also present. Many exporters looking at the selflessness work of this trust have decided to contribute in the endeavor of this trust. Mr. Anoop Shankdhar was one of them and he was felicitated for his contribution in Divya Prem Seva Mission.
